APMA places tremendous value in the perspective of our young physician members. We work hard to create opportunities for involvement and leadership development to accommodate all levels of experience and availability.
Recognizing the need to provide appropriate recognition for outstanding accomplishments in scientific, professional, philanthropic, and civic endeavors by our members and friends, the 1961 House of Delegates directed by resolution that awards may be recommended by the Board of Trustees, that the board develop procedures, and that these procedures be published in an APMA publication.
